Men's Mental Health

Although the stigma surrounding men's mental health has changed positively in the last few decades, it can still be difficult for men to reach out and ask for help. "Manhood" is presented as a set of acceptable reactions and emotions, and it can be very constraining to try to live up to these standards. Men are told we need to shoulder the burden, keep a stiff upper lip, never show fear or sadness, etc. In reality, there are lots of different ways to be a man, and I can help you explore these options as you become the best man you can be.
