About Me

You want a therapist who has walked the walk. I have  over 25 years of experience working in the helping fields. I was inspired to become a helper through my own struggles with mental health. I have struggled since my teenage years with depression and anxiety, I am a bullying survivor, I am a reformed substance abuser, and I live with ADHD and PTSD. I would not be where I am today were it not for helpers that I met along my path, and I decided long ago that I wanted to be that person for others experiencing similar life challenges.

I have a Bachelor of Leisure Studies from Ottawa University, a Bachelor of Social Work from Carleton University, a Master of Arts from Laval University, and a Master of Divinity from Trinity College.

I am a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers (reg # 845488). I am also a registered NIHB provider, and have worked extensively with Canada's Indigenous peoples. To the best of my ability, I provide culturally-informed and sensitive services. I am descended from Euro-settlers, and I use a decolonization lens when I approach therapy.

I was born and raised in Quebec, and am fluently bilingual. have made Ontario my home for the last 10 years. I am married with 2 young children.

My pronouns are he/him. I am a cisgender, heterosexual male, and I endeavor to be an ally to 2SLGBTQI+ folx and other marginalized communities.
